i came equipPed with my Canon s3 IS, ready to shoot any pretty bloom that will daintily tilt its head to beckon and flash me its vibrant smile :P i saw a spidey looking oRchid, its cream body in contrast to speckled purple markings on its thin arachnidic legs, i thought it looked pretty pretty :)

one of my fav entries, by a florist in KL : a thematic floral display/arrangement wit a very *Purplish Dream feeling in it
me * & sis back at the orchids booths, we just cant get enough of *em!we got through just almost half of the entire park, and only to half of the exhibits. the heat is certainly getting to us, and the crowd coming by the troves in our opposite direction.
we certainly had a good time if not a great one, watching the flowers certainly lit my day :) so much more than i havent seen. will pay them a visit in Laman2007 hopefully, and this time i will come equipped wit sunblock too! :D :D

Wow, I didn't realise that Lake Gardens changed so much in a matter of just 1 year!
just for the exhibits, most of the plants will be yanked off after that i thiNk!

oops! sorry ... i tot you are into botany as well. looks like you are more into graphic design work & pretty young too :P
anyway, i'm juz botany beginner which i taken up as hobby. And Musa is Genus name for those under the family of bananas & plantains. i was refering to the pink banana as I seldom see it here & wondering if they are edible or merely ornament.
hope i dun cause any furthur confusion. cheers! ;)
