Bongsen by SI Design

i miss my viet cold vermicelli!!!!!!! tried this one at Bongsen@KLCC on Friday night after a long day@work. Packed with an assortment of carrots,cucumber,pickle carrot in sweet-ish vinegar,fragrant ground peanuts, fresh beansprout, thinly sliced lettuce strips, arranged neatly in lil turfs on a bed of cold rice vermicelli, topped with lemongrass grilled chicken strips,this meal packs freshness into a (HUGE!) bowl! (pricily priced at approx RM 16!). at the end of dinner, my puny belly bloated to about 3 times its usual size! (my dinner portions are usually ONe-third!)

tmrw is friDay! wanna go midvalley to have my salad noodle (as how fuz calls it)!!!! yummy yums! & time to sleep now, just completed a portion of my drawings. head to my snoozLes now.

pics were taken last satuRday ( at a newly opened Prince Cafe in Ss2 ) maybe not so new, but since i am slowpaced, and not in tuned with my changing surroundings, i'd take it as new, siNce me and wen havent tried that place yet.

its my 1st time meeting wen siNce the prev time before i started work! we were at f.r.i.e.n.d.z cafe that time, with tyuen and jkhan.

we'd decided to make it a girl's nite since those guys been goin out but'd not bothered to ring us up as well

the place turn out to be very much like hyped-Hongkie type of cafes. the food was not bad, better than i had expected. as it was oredy past 9,we sampled on a serving of the Pork Chop burger, which is one of the top ten topsellers, (but unforch, the pics had not turned out well, so i'd rather not post em*)



i like wen's smoothie! the taste of strawberry is so fresh, yet tangy, yet not tasting like the concentrate type thats either too sweet or too sour.

yummy! and thats my Mango & Passionfruit Smoothie, the two flavours blends up to be a very nice chilling combination! the texture is fine-blended, and doesnt clump in icebergs. JuIcy! definitely not for the brain-freezers! i thoroughly enjoyed it, every Sip! :>

i havent been to places for so long, and i would normally shun places like Wongkok cos' its too noisy, this place is just right, wit the right ambience, lighting and decor wise.

we headed back home after ta pau-ing the Pork and Vege Dumpling Soup Noodle for my sis. its quite like the very famed Ramen in Dragon-i but the taste lacks in this aspect, bland tasting. im in for full flavours, with a certain ooooMPh or kick*! that is a no -no for me. my sis on the other hand find it okay and slurped it all up in a few bites!

i want so much to update Bali,but my photoshop has turned Cranky for now! it keeps hanging when i wanna edit my image sizes! Bali will be up as soon as photoshop's fixed! till then, hang on in there guys! :P:P see ya in a jiffy and a great weekend to y'all!*muakz*!

have been busy all week with preparations for the degree show thats launching off this coming friday evening at 4 - 30 pm. the layout's that's deemed to be completed some months back during the submissions needed to be tweaked again! ( i hate squeezing two sems work in one stupid A0!) college is so kiam siap!)

somehow found the mood to post up pix that me and my coursemates took during the seafood dinner at River View in Kuala Selangor :) the morning lagging connection failed me again, i couldnt accesss anything asides jobstreet, jobsdb and gmail! (and btw i have an interview tomolo at 11am!!! )

nothing much to post today, went to Sg.Buloh for brunch (yes bak Kut Teh, and i am an anti-pork club president) and to take piccy but the pics turn out so noisy, like a bunch of aunties yacking, so unpleasant i dont wanna post em!

my sisters treated me to MfM (edit :: short for Manhattan Fish Market) this evening and i treated them to NZ's Natural Yogurts' icecream @ Ikano. its my 3rd time to Ikano this week, and most of the time there to find sth to munch on. i will be pilling on pounds if i dont watch where (and who) i go places with! the plus point about my sisters are they look skeweRstick_thin even if they wallopTHRICe the amount i have.

Candles Remind u that u ARe getting Older

on Sunday, March 12 2006, (thats yesterday) we celebrated 3 persons' birtHdays!
deaR Meng will be turNing 15 offIcially on this 28tH March but siNce heR birtHday in the *LunaR* calendar fell yesteRday we celebrated it together with dad and youNger sis's which fall on the 1st of April and 15th of March respectively.

Although the dates are quite faR from one anotheR we have celebrated it this way foR the past yeaRs. (mum lazy bake 3 individual cakes for all of *em)

somehow feels lucky my birtHday and pheNg's are apart by one moNth, teehee

we make very UN-similaR cancer sisters really.

i haven't had birtHday celebrations at home for so loNg now, eXcept for one in my Year1, and that itself wasnt a very pleasant experience. (due to some reasons)

we had a very elaborate steamBoat dinner yesterdAy complete with seafood, fish, meat, prawns, pacific clams and fresh scallops from *aussie! (and vege of cos, sth un-animal to munch on at least)! iN the middle of diNner, phengz suggested on opening a bottle of wine and boy she can drink! *guzzles guzzles guzzles like she would empty a bottle of Evian down her throat* "licks lips* *hmmMmyums*

and theN later in the night, we had the infaMous -cutting-cake-session-. i was baffled if i shud light 15, 56 or 11 candles! hahaa! i lighted ONLY one in the end, just a number to represent the 3 of them! we had an awesoMe yuMmylicious Blackforest Cake whicH mum tooK the trOuble to baKe thhat very afternoOn beforehand.

to cap off the very memoRable nite, me and Meng walked in the garDen for a bit to *complete* the birthday celebration. don't ask me why, i too think its odd to walk in the garden at a very late 11pm clad in my pyjas,and her in her new clothes! it was a nite with Bright mOon but no staRs so we head back into home and retired eaRly in bed as we weRe so exhausted.

i feel fat as i lay down trying not to think of food i taken earlier.

but i pigGed all the same, after sendiNg the last sms to teds.

today's post will be title-less because there's nothiNg really speciFic i wanna talk about. i woKe up toDay havIng a suDden gatal-ness to wantiNg to do lots of tyPing.

as i couldnt fInd anythiNg in my assiGnmenT to tyPe yet, and tHere are no One in Msn that i can chat to at the tIme of the mornIng i resoRted to blOgging.

in a conversation not long ago with my dear cousin Bryan he mentiONed he doesnt wrIte his eMo-s on his blog anymore. i guess it's feeliNg like u have exposed too much of ur personal feelings for whomever who view it, at the same time showiNg the weaKer u, and NO MAN wants to be thought as a WIMP!

but i said to him " Its practically the only place i go to when i am down "

its there i am searching for someone (place) to shout out
its there regardless day or night
its there no matter what (and thankfully it hasnt gotten ears)
its there when i am awake alone and no one is quite awake to listen

haha! its the yuMMilicios-est breakfast i have had this week,and though i must admit,the srambled eGgs arent cooKed as scraMbled as they shud look like. i guess non-stick pans never give u quite the same results chinese woks do!
